ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Sindh High Court (SHC) Maqbool Baqar is likely to become Supreme Court (SC) judge while justice Faisal Arab strong candidate to reside on his vacant seat in SHC.
Baqar’s appointment will be reviewed by judicial commission as two more judges, including Justices Faisal Arab and Sajjad Ali Shah having eligibility for the vacant seat of Justice Tassadduq Hussain Gillani.
The sources recommended that the Sindh high court senior Judge, Justice Faisal Arab will be the strong candidate to take charge as new Sindh high court judge, if Justice Baqar appointed as Supreme Court judge.
It is noteworthy to mention here that the judicial commission also made consultation over appointment Justice Faisal Arab in Special Court established to try former military president Pervez Musharraf.
