PESHAWAR: Speaking in the KP Assembly, senior minister and Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq said a future course of action would be devised with regard to the emerging situation due to the military offensive in the APC.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced to convene an all parties conference (APC) on June 28 to discuss the situation emerging in the backdrop of military operation in North Waziristan with special focus on exodus from the restive tribal district.
He said that the tribesmen were constitutionally allowed to travel to other parts of the country. The minister said that notice should be taken into forced eviction of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Charsadda.
The JI Ameer also demanded of the federal government to announce a Rs1 billion special package for the Federally Administered Trial Areas (FATA) , saying the tribal areas were neglected in the past.
He also expressed displeasure over announcement of Rs7000 compensation for the IDPs , saying the amount is not sufficient.
