MIRANSHAH: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Wednesday accepted responsibilty of Rawalpindi blast and Bajaur agency attacks.
Two Pakistani military officers of rank Lieutenant-Colonels were killed in a suicide bombing attack on a double cabin vehicle on Fateh Jang road near Rawalpindi, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed.
TTP spokesman Shahidullah Shahid said the suicide bombing near Fateh Jang was carried out by TTP attackers to protest “the killing of seven TTP activists in Karachi” and “the killing of Taliban prisoners in jail”.
Shahidhullah Shahid said that around 20 security officers have been killed in Bajaur Agency and TTP has 10 dead bodies.
