LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan’s chief Sirajul Haq said on Sunday that those sitting in London can only talk about London and not Pakistan.
Speaking at JI’s Lahore headquarters (Mansoora), Siraj lamented that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif did not raise up the Kashmir issue when in India and did not meet any freedom seeking Kashmiri leader.
JI chief said that people of FATA and North Waziristan are patriots and the current operation is forcing them to migrate to neighbouring Afghanistan and if the trend continues, it could prove dangerous for the country.
He urged the government to go ahead with peace dialogue with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and start development projects in tribal areas.
Coming back on PTI, PAT and PML-Q, he said that the persistent loadshedding has made the summer season unbearable in the country, so all who can afford tickets to London, should go there.
It should be mentioned that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahir-ul-Qadri and Chaudhry brothers of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) are present in London for a grand opposition alliance.
