ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will talk about Pakistan-India cricket series during his visit in India.
PM Nawaz is in New Delhi for the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected Bhartiya Janta Party’s Narendra Modi.
He will have an official meeting with his Indian counterpart Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee during his two days visit.
Sethi told media that he has updated PM about the latest development in Pak-India cricket relations.
According to PCB chief, PM Nawaz will definitely talk about Pak-India cricket scenario with Modi.
Sethi also urged Modi to play his role in improving Pak-India cricket ties.
PCB chief said that cricket boards of both the countries are ready for bilateral cricket series. Pakistani government has given green signal in this regard and now approval from Indian government is pending.
