KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haider Abbas Rizvi warned what he called ‘plain clothes policemen’ that all governments who tried to suppress MQM and its worker had to count its days and the same can happen this time.
Speaking at a protest against extra judicial killing and abduction of party workers at Karachi Press Club, Rivi said that we hear the plight of the families of missing MQM workers daily at party headoffice ‘Nine Zero’ but now we have decided to show the same to the world.
MQM MNA Farooq Sattar warned that this protest is just a trailer and the whole film will follow if extra judicial arrests and abductions would not stop.
Farooq Sattar demanded government to release 45 workers of the party otherwise MQM workers too will wear ‘plain clothes’ like policemen and will reply tit for tat.
MQM Rabita Committee members Khwaja Izhar ul Hasan, Wasay Jalil and MPA Ashfaq Mangi also spoke on the ocassion.
They alleged that police had arrested 11 MQM workers since Tuesday night.
