Peshawar: An important member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Professor Ibrahim on Thursday has said that the committee will try to convince TTP shura to take back its decision regarding not to extend ceasefire deadline.
While talking to media, Ibrahim said that the dialogue process will not continued without complete ceasefire from both sides.
“We will continue our efforts in trying to extend the ceasefire.” Professor Ibrahim said reservations of the TTP had been communicated to the government.
On Wednesday, the TTP spokesman, Shahidullah Shahid said that ceasefire has been ended as the government did not give a satisfactory response to the Taliban’s 40-day ceasefire and 50 of their detained members were killed during this time period.
