NAUDERO: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the party leadership has again expressed confidence over the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Kaira said that PPP will be restructured along the guidelines and vision of its martyred leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto whose death anniversary will be observed on 4th April.
Speaking after the party’s Central Executive Committee meeting, Kaira urged the PML-N government to keep in view all legal formalities in the treason case against former military dictator General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, adding that politicians were always hanged using constitution as a tool.
The PPP leader said that his party will continue support for democracy and the present democratic setup in Pakistan.
About peace dialogue with Pakistan’s Taliban rebels, he said that his party supports the peace talks process but parliament should be taken into confidence regarding the process.
He again said that Bilawal Bhutto is not afraid of threats against his life from extremists.
PPP’s central executive committee meeting was organized as a part of party’s founding leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s 35th death anniversary.
