DHAKA: Pakistan majestic spinner Saeed Ajmal wants to become the first bowler to take 100 wickets in the Twenty20 cricket.
At time, Ajmal has already taken so far 87 wickets in his 61 matches and his only needs 13 wickets to become first bowler who completes 100 wickets in the shorter format.
After Ajmal, Umar Gul has uprooted 77 wickets so far whereas Shahid Afridi got 75.
While giving the interview to media, Ajmal said that he wanted to become the first 100 wicket taker bowler as his teammate leg-spinner Shahid Afridi had crossed the 50 digits for the first time in Twenty2o history.
To the query, Ajmal said that he has still not made a special plan for Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuel because he was focusing on the strategy given by skipper and the coach.
In the World T20 2014, Ajmal took one wicket giving 18 runs against India and he also took one wicket giving 33 runs against Australia.
