DHAKA: West Indies skipper Darren Sammy has become the first Wet Indian cricketer after playing his 50 matches in the Twenty20 format.
Sammy played his 50 match against Australia in the World Twenty20 at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.
In this match, Sammy hit two splendid sixes for team victory on Australian bowler James Faulkner when West Indies was needed 12 runs on six balls.
He has scored so far 421 runs with hitting 22 sixes and 32 fours in his 50 matches.
