ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign office spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said today that there is no evidence of missing Malaysia Airlines plane MH370’s presence on Pakistani radar.
Ms.Alam said Malaysian authorities are in contact with 25 countries including Pakistan and if Pakistani authorities knew anything about the missing jetliner, they would share information with Malaysia.
Everyone on MH370 being investigated
At a press conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein says that 25 countries are now involved in the search for the missing plane and that the pilots, passengers and crew are all being investigated.
The government also appealed for international help in the search for the Malaysia Airlines plane across two corridors stretching from the Caspian Sea to the southern Indian Ocean, diplomats said.
HIJACKING FEARS FROM PILOT
Fears emerged tonight that the pilot of the missing Malaysia Airlines jet may have hijacked the plane himself as an anti-government protest.
Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah was a fervent supporter of his country’s opposition leader who was jailed for homosexuality – illegal in Malaysia – only hours before flight MH370 vanished with 239 passengers and crew on board, British paper, the Sunday Mirror can reveal.
And in a new twist, it emerged that the pilot’s wife and three children moved out of the family’s home the day before the plane’s disappearance.
The revelations came after Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak yesterday confirmed the Boeing 777 jet was deliberately diverted from its planned route between his country’s capital Kuala Lumpur and Beijing.
No trace of the Boeing 777-200ER has been found since it vanished on March 8 with 239 people on board, but investigators believe it was diverted by someone who knew how to switch off its communications and tracking systems
