ANTIGUA: Denesh Ramdin has become the first West Indian wicket-keeper batsman to score a century for his country in the One Day International (ODI) at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
Ramdin played 128 runs innings against England on March 5 (Wednesday).
The wicket-keeper has one century and three half-centuries in his 109 ODI matches so far.
He is a wicket-keeper batsman who drew comparisons with Jeff Dujon and is also being touted as a future captain.
Originally a fast bowler, Ramdin at 13, decided to give up on his bowling to concentrate fully on wicket-keeping.
