LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday has accepted the resignation of Javed Miandad on the post of Director General and formed committee for reviewing laws.
Javed Miandad’s resignation was accepted in the high-level session of PCB management committee while Chief Operation Officer Subhan Ahmed made the announcement before the local media.
Subhan Ahmed informed the media that PCB has removed the post of Director General in the board while a three-member committee would make complete review constitution.
‘Special employment quota for disabled persons and women has been allocated in the board’, he added.
Ahmed said that the committee was provided with a briefing over Big 3 issues; afterward, decision was made unanimously to continue consultation over the matter as well as to take firm stance in favour of country and national cricket board.
PCB has not yet taken any decision for contractual employs while final decision will be made on tomorrow.
