VATICAN CITY: Pope Francis has declared Internet service as “Gift of God” on Catholic Church’s communication day here in Vatican city.
The leader of Roman Catholic Church said in a message that internet has given unification opportunities to people.
Talking about social media sites, Pope said that success of such sites have shown that communication is a part of human nature and it cannot be only called a success of technology.
The spiritual leader expressed hope that in an age where inequality is on the rise , media can play its part for unity among people and should take some serious steps in this way.
