GUJRANWALA: The Punjab’s Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has seen in jubilant mood during a power plant survey, when he declared himself a ‘free contractor of federal government’ of different projects who is working without any payment.
CM Shahbaz Sharif was addressing the media conference after an official visit to federal govt’s initiated Nandipur power project with senior journalists.
Sharif said that Nandipur power project was federal government project and he was a free contractor of this project who even not paid for his service;Â the attendants had failed to stop their laughs over his statement.
However, CM Shahbaz Sharif  detailed the advantages of Nandipur Power Project; which will produce upto 100 MW electricity by May 2014.
Shahbaz Sharif said in-charge of the project captain Mehmood with his team including Chinese Engineers were working on the project day and night.
He said despite delay in work on project, performance of Pakistan and Chinese authorities were praise worthily.
He said special reward will also be announced for the team who worked on the project.
Shahbaz Sharif said it was inked with Chinese company to inaugurate first turbine of Nandipur project in November but the team work very quicky and they were hopeful that the electricity generation from this project will be started from May this year.

CM Shahbaz Sharif said the Punjab government was working on various power generation projects including solar energy designs in Bahawalpur.
