Karachi: Additional Inspector General Shahid Hayat on Friday has issued new orders for police regarding to conduct targeted operation in Karachi.
According to details, the AIG has given orders that all the police officers should be in uniform during the operation.
He said that only registered police mobiles or vehicles must be used during the operation as it minimizes the allegations leveled on the department.
He further said that the name of the station must be mentioned on the police mobile.
According to sources, he news orders by the AIG came after the reservation by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) regarding the targeted operation.
The MQM level serious allegation on the police and law-enforcement agencies for extra-judicial killed of its workers.
The MQM shared its reservation with the government of Sindh and with the federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar who paid visit to Karachi to review the status of targeted operation in the metropolis.
