QUETTA: Pakistan’s Hazara community on Thursday announced to end their sit-in in Quetta after successful talks with the country’s Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar.
Nisar along with Information Minister Pervez Rashid arrived here in Quetta on the directives of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to show solidarity with the the Hazara community.
The community had begun its sit-in in Quetta on Wednesday and refused to bury the victims who were killed in a yet another massacre in Mastung on Tuesday evening.
The government officials also held successful talks the leaders of the community.
Nisar, while talking to the media, termed the talks as successful and assured that all of their demands would be addressed.
He said that Hazaras were the most peaceful and patriotic Pakistani community, adding that the terrorists cannot escape and they would go after the culprits and bring them to justice.
Leader of Hazara community, Abdul Khaliq Hazara later announced to end the sit-in and to bury the remains of the slain pilgrims on Friday.
