Washington: The trend of budget devices is getting hot, as Acer have unveiled two new budget friendly Android tablet Iconia B1-720 and Iconia A1-830.
The devices are set to make their debut at CES 2014, the Iconia B1-720 is priced at €129 will Iconia A1-830 will be available at €169.
The Acer Iconia B1-720 packs in a 7-inch 10 point multitouch display and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor. The tablet ships with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and 1GB of RAM. Users will find 16GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 32GB microSD cards for additional memory.
The Iconia B1-720 has a front facing camera for video chat (no rear camera) and front-facing speakers so your sound is never muffled. In terms of wireless connectivity, the tablet ships with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and the company claims its battery will last up to five hours. The Iconia B1-720 will be available in mid-January and will be priced at €129.
Acer also announced the Iconia A1-830. The tablet sports a 7.9-inch IPS (in plane switching) display with a resolution of 1024 x 768. It’s powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor and 1GB of RAM for a smooth user experience.
Users will find 16GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 32GB microSD cards for additional memory. It’s also packing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Iconia A1-830 ships with front-facing stereo speakers and both front and rear facing cameras. The rear camera supports 1080p Full HD video recording. Acer claims that the A1-830’s battery will last up to 7.5 hours of normal usage. The Acer Iconia A1-830 is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2014 and will be priced at €169.
