TRIPOLI, Libya: An American school teacher has been killed on Thursday in the firing incident carried out by unidentified gunmen in Benghazi city of Libya, international media reported.
The terrorists reportedly opened fires on a U.S. citizen working at an international school in the Libyan city of Benghazi, medical and security sources said on Thursday.
The sources detailed that the US man was an instructor at a school situated in Benghazi city.
However, responsibility of the shooting has not been claimed by anyone till yet.
It should be mentioned that the U.S. ambassador to Libya was killed in late 2012 when Islamist militants assaulted the US consulate in Benghazi.
