LAHORE: The Pakistan’s left-handed batsman Nasir Jamshed will celebrate his twenty-fourth birthday on December 6 but with an unfortunate ‘shock’ as being unsuccessful in getting place in T20 squad against Sri Lanka.
Nasir Jamshed got sorrowful intimation before his birthday celebration moments after being dropped from the Pakistani T20 squad against Sri Lanka starting from December 8 to 11 at United Arab Emirates (UAE) on two venues including Sharjah and Dubai cricket stadiums.
Jamshed’s gift was considered as the result for his not so good performance in the last series against South Africa in their home grounds.
Cricketer Nasir Jamshed belongs to Lahore as well as started playing cricket from the city.
A function would be organised on the date for celebrating Jamshed’s birthday while various cricketers and relatives will also attend the event.
