Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi police started action against all those who propagate inflammatory content on social media during the tragic incident occurred on Ashura that led to at least 11 deaths.
According to reports, police and law-enforcement agencies taken action last night and arrested 2 suspected culprits who were also members of a group which involved to incite provocative material on the social media.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) also helped to arrest the suspected culprits. Both were shifted to unknown place.
This action has been taken after the clear instruction by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on November 20 who directed police authorities to carry out a fair and impartial investigation into the Rawalpindi riots and sectarian clashes.
