LAHORE: Pakistan’s batsman cum wicketkeeper Umar Akmal faced uncertain situation in organising his wedding ceremony due to a dates’ conflict with upcoming Asia Cup 2014.
The Pakistani star batsmen Umar Akmal have to tie knot with daughter of former spinner Abdul Qadir, Noor Abdul Qadir, on February 27 but it is now conflicting with the dates of the international event.
Both families had decided for organisation of his wedding and other ceremonies from February’s 25 to 27 but Akmal would be unavailable on the dates as the tournament starting on 25th of the same month in Bangladesh, local newspaper reported.
Keeping the situation in eyes, the wedding ceremony has been postponed by the families while new dates would be decided afterwards.
