Rawalpindi: Protest has been started once again in Rawalpindi by the violent people against the incident occurred on 10th of Muharram (Friday), whereas 2 people have been killed during the protest in Kohat on Monday.
Protestors demonstrated against the Rawalpindi tragedy and forced the closure of shops in Raja Bazaar, Bara Market, Sabzi Mandi, Urdu Bazaar and other markets of the city.
Due to the violent protest 80 percent markets have been closed in the garrison city.
Security forces took control of all the sensitive area of the city and stop people to enter on those areas.
Earlier on Monday, authorities lifted the curfew which was imposed in the city on Friday. The city administration said that section 144 would remain imposed in the city, while the army would remain on standby.
Besides Rawalpindi, Ahle-e-Sunnat Wal Jammat (ASWJ) also started protest in Kohat city against the incident occurred in 10th Muharram in Rawalpindi.
During the protest atleast two people have been killed including a police personnal as tension grip the city.
Protest also burnt markets as police took control and closed all the of the area and also ordered the residents to remain at their homes.
