ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has indicated for cooperation in energy sector of Pakistan especially in alternative energy generation projects.
FO minister Al Nahyan, while addressing to a joint press conference in Islamabad, said that UAE government is highly interested in development of energy sector of Pakistan.
The announcement was made after Joint Ministerial Commission 11th session held in Islamabad while the Special Advisor on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz also present on the event.
Sartaj Aziz expressed his satisfaction over the significant enhancement of trade ties which has crossed $10 billion per year as well as announced establishment of Joint Trade Council.
Both countries showed agreement for more advancement in the bilateral economic cooperation during ending ceremony of the event.
It should be mentioned that Argentina had also offered cooperation to Pakistan for large-scale generation of hydroelectricity up to 60,000 Mega Watts for eliminating menace of energy crisis on October 25.
