MIRANSHAH: Banned militant outfit in Pakistan, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Friday rejected the reports regarding commencement of dialogues process with Pakistani government.
TTP spokesperson Shahidullah Shahid said that there is no holding of peace talks with Pakistan’s government as the federal authorities have not contacted the TTP till yet.
Shahidullah Shahid added that the federal government of Pakistan is only making announcements via media for the holding of peace talks, local media reported.
He said that the procedure of table talk and initiating discussions for resolving the issue is called dialogues while there is no such thing happened till now.
The spokesperson clarified that his organisation is firm over the demands made before the Pakistani government and the federal authorities should fulfill the requirements in order to show its seriousness in peace dialogues.
