At least 5 people including a shooter were killed in a shooting reported near 17th Avenue and Camelback Road on Saturday morning, police said.
Phoenix police spokesman Tommy Thompson confirmed Saturday afteroon that four people and one shooter died after gunfire was reported at a townhouse complex near 17th Avenue and Hazelwood Street around 9 a.m.
Two dogs were also shot and killed, police said.
Officials said the investigation is ongoing.
