ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s federal government has stressed upon the need to enforce “Food Emergency” in the country.
The recommendation came after the issuance of Food Survey 2011 telling a deplorable condition of food state in the country.
“As many as 4.3 million children have been face a worst dearth of the food,” the survey report said.
“The lack of food affects the speaking, writing and thinking abilities of the children.”
Following the emergence of bleak situation regarding the food condition in the country, the Pakistan Muslim League led government has recommended to impose State of Food Emergency in the country, a house of over 180 million.
