HANGU: Banned militant outfit in Pakistan, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has welcomed governmental offer for the initiation of peace talk followed by the joint declaration of All Parties’ Conference (APC) held in Islamabad today.
Shahidullah Shahid, main spokesperson of TTP, clarified the militant group’s stance after noticing open governmental offer for commencement of negotiations.
The spokesperson said that Shura, the central executive committee of TTP, meeting has been called in order to take firm decision over talks offer.
Shahid clarified that the organization will finalise its future strategies after completion of APC activities but the agenda of APC won’t change TTP’s destinations.
The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is an umbrella organization of various Islamist militant groups based in the Pakistan’s northwestern Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) bordering with Afghan border.
Earlier, the banned outfit had dismissed Punjab’s chief Asmatullah Muavia from his post over welcoming table talks offer by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif before recently held APC conference but, however, major development has been seen in result of the governmental joint discussion.
