DERA BUGTI: The Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani addressed the special event related to Pakistan’s Defence Day celebrated at Cadet College Sui city of Balochistan province on Friday.
The Pakistan’s military chief refused the concerns for involvement of army personnels in any operation, said that not a single of Pak Army is taking part in Balochistan.
Kayani said that a prosperous and strong Balochistan is proportional to the development of Pakistan as well as for Army. He added that Pakistan defence is related to the developed Balochistan
Kayani said that representation of Balochistan in Pakistan Army has increased and 760 Balochi officers are performing duties.
While detailing about development work in the province, Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani said that Pak Army is providing assistance in several projects of Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Sibi cities of Balochistan and the military will also cooperate in Gwadar – Todairo road project.
He added that Pakistan Army is helping in upgradation process of Balochistan Police via provision of modern weapons.
He said that army troops are present inside their barracks and working for development in Balochistan province in various sector including education.
