MULTAN: Prominent leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Member of National Assembly (MNA) Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has unveiled his stance for the solution of Karachi law and order situation  urging establishment of a strong government via local bodies’ election.
The PTI senior leader, Javed Hashmi, said that Army, Rangers and police do not have proper solution for eliminating problems of Karachi and it is important to establish a strong government in the metropolis through local bodies’ election.
While talking with a local newspaper in an interview, Hashmi claimed that the federal government had no plan to resolve Karachi issues and PM went to the city at the time when situations were going completely out of control.
Hashmi said that Karachi is not possessed by any political party anymore but the actual power is the locals, hence federal government should hand over maximum authorities to the local administration.
Commenting over commencement of talks with militant groups, the PTI leader said that if federal government can initiate negotiations with Rajanpur robbers than they can hold peace seeking talks with Taliban as well.
It should be mentioned, PTI had not participated in the special meeting with leaders of the city’s visible political parties over the metropolis law and order situation, held at Sindh’s Governor House under supervision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
