ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued white paper, a legal report, consisting of 2000 pages on Wednesday against vote rigging during May 11 general election of the country.
PTI chief Imran Khan issued white papers against allegedly large scale electoral rig during the country’s general election.
While addressing the media in Lahore, Imran Khan said that purpose of the press conference is not to demand change of the government or overturning whole electoral event but to encourage democracy in Pakistan.
The leader demanded holding of free and transparent by-election which is going to be held in Pakistan on August 22.
Khan said that Karachittes came out of home by risking their lives for voting in general election. He added that due to vote rigging incidents people avoided to become a part of the election after 1970’s general election.
PTI chief claimed that we can jam whole country on May 11 by giving a public call.
He said that PTI demanded earlier the conducting of ballot papers’ recount via thumb impressions technology on only 4 polling stations but the answer of authorities is still in pending while 64 petitions against vote rigging are still presents in election tribunal.
Pointing over the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan, Imran Khan said that the Pakistan’s apex court, who took suo moto actions over several issues, should think about future of the country.
Earlier, PTI chief Imran Khan has expressed his view while talking with journalists, he alleged that we were defeated by the authorities who conducted the election and if the authorities do not investigate into rigging issues he vowed to start protests after Eid.
