ISLAMABAD: Federal government has accepted anomalies in lease of Lakhra Power Plant saying there is something ‘non-transparent.’
Following the arguments, SC has annulled the lease of Lakhra Power Plant, Addtional Attorney General Shah Khawar, said that pre-qualification of Associated Group, involved in the case, was not done.
He was giving stance of federal government and Ministry of Water and Power in the supreme court over Lakhra Power Plant case.
The federal government says that in case of non-transparency, the deal would be done with some other party.
“The government wanted to review the whole matter,” it was further said.
If government acclaims that there is something non-transparent, then case dissolves automatically, Justice Jawad S Khawaja said in a statement.
