Lahore: Pakistan is set to go head to head against Zimbabwe for two tests, three ODIs and two T20s from 23rd August.
According to the sources, due to the possible unavailability of Umar Akmal, Sarfaraz Ahmed is called back into the squad. The 26 year old right handed wicket keeper batsman has represented Pakistan on various occasions but has failed to make an impact the way he should have.
Sarfaraz Ahmed was first introduced in international arena of cricket in November 2007, when Kamran Akmal, brother of Umar Akmal was unavailable due to the injury in the finger. He also represented Pakistan in 2008 Asia Cup. So far he hasn’t been able to show performance with bat but has been good behind the stumps.
