ISLAMABAD: Another high level delegation from Thailand is ready to visit Pakistan as it will be second significant international official tour after US Secretary of State John Kerry.
Prime Minister of Thailand Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra has scheduled visit to Pakistan for holding talks with Pakistani leadership on various issues.
Ms Shinawatra is arriving on two-day official visit in Islamabad on August 20 (Tuesday).
The Thai PM will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising cabinet members‚ high officials and businessmen.
The Thai high-up would initiate discussions on bilateral relations, political and trade ties between Pakistan and Thailand.
Moreover, she will participate the inauguration session of Pakistan-Thailand Joint Trade Committee going to be held on August 21 (Wednesday).
Yingluck Shinawatra is a Thai businesswoman and politician, member of the Pheu Thai Party, the 28th and current Prime Minister of Thailand following the 2011 general election.
Shinawatra is Thailand’s first female Prime Minister and at 45 is the youngest Prime Minister of Thailand in over 60 years.
