QUETTA: Pakistan Minister of Interior Chaudhry Nisar said that we can convert the provincial capital of Balochistan into weapon-free state after taking permission with political powers.
The interior minister reached to Quetta on official one-day visit over worsening law and order situation after a serious of terrorists’ attack in the city.
While talking to media jointly with Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Malik Baloch, Chaudhry Nisar said that war of terrorism was imposed on Pakistan before 13 years and the country is facing attacks from unseeable enemies.
Nisar said that we will control terrorism soon as our morale is very high.
Chaudhry Nisar added that federal government is cooperating with Balochistan’s provincial administration up to its maximum.
The interior minister expressed their sorrow on large-scale killing of innocent citizens and security officials during last two months in Quetta.
“Families of the personnel fighting the war of Pakistan’s survival would never be left alone and maximum support will be given to children of martyrs”, Nisar said.
Interior Minister said that Pakistan Army Chief General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayyani assured support for establishment of peace in Balochistan province.
The Army chief promised for provision of 5000 sub machine guns to as well as special training on emergency basis to the personnel of Balochistan Police.
Nisar added that federal government wishes in formation of sustainable security policy feasible for implementation but it will take some time.

Moreover, a suicide blast took place at the funeral of a slain police officer in Quetta killed 30 members of the police force, including a Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations, Superintendent Police (SP), Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) and 60 others injured on August 8.
