As Ramadan’s last days have arrived, Muslims across the globe gear up preparation for the biggest event of Eid al Fitr.
Moon in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia is likely to be witnessed on August 7 as the supreme court of the country will be collecting evidences of crescent sighting which means Eid al Fitr will be observed on August 8 in Saudi Arabia.
Similarly, United Arab Emirates, Egypt and other Middle Eastern countries will be celebrating Eid on August 8.
In Pakistan, moon sighting will be done on August 8 as Ruet e Hilal Committee, the elite body of the country for moon sighting, will meet on Thursday. According to Met Office, chances are high that moon will be sighted on Thursday and Eid al Fitr will be observed on Friday.
