ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will announce the final list of candidates on Saturday for upcoming presidential election going to be held on July 30.
Presidential candidates of federal government leading political party Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government ruler Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) will be seen in next electoral fight.
PML-N’s candidate will be Mamnoon Hussain while PTI nominated Justice (Retd.) Wajihuddin Siddiqui for the country’s top post.
Withdrawal time for nomination papers has ended on 12:00 noon today and Pakistan Muslim League (N) Zafar Iqbal Jhagra, the covering candidate, withdrew his papers.
ECP rejected nineteen nomination papers of other candidates after scrutiny process.
