ISLAMABAD: The apex court of the country has assured the former dictator and president Pervez Musharraf for a fair trial in his case.
The former president has been facing high treason case under Article 6 of the Constitution for violating the constitution.
Hearing the case, Justice Jawad S Khawaja observed that Pervez Musharraf would be gone through a fair trial.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz led government has filed the petition against the former dictator following a policy statement from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the national assembly.
However, the attorney geneneral Munir A Malik couldn’t be able to appear before the court prompting the court to defer the case till July 3.
