PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Pervez Khattak has claimed to resolve load shedding issue in a week if Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) handed over.
While addressing to house on load shedding issue, the CM KPK complained that federal government is not implementing load shedding schedule as per announcement.
He added that requirement of electricity in KPK is 2400 mega watts but antiquated system cannot bear it.
CM Khattak said that 13 per cent of the country’s electricity production is allocated for our province which is not being given on discriminatory basis.
Pervez Khattak vowed to resign from the chief minister’s post if unsuccessful to solve public issue. Moreover, CM KPK has passed the resolution against load shedding.
