ISLAMABAD: Taking a lead over his political but injured rival Imran Khan, Jamiat Ulema e Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has taken oath at last by stepping out of the confusion over the issue.
Fazl has won three national assembly seats and has been in confusion to take the decision which seat he should drop.
However, Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf chairman is still unable to attend the assembly session as doctors have advised him for taking bed rest. Khan fell from a lifter in a Lahore rally during election campaign giving him serious head and back injuries.
A bitter political rivalry had emerged between Fazl and Khan during election campaign when both of them have been canvassing for votes in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province.
PTI emerged as the leading party in the restive province with JUI is on the second number.
