Now some analysts are saying that country’s army chief , General Asfaq Parvez Kayani, has played an important role in defusing tension between Nawaz and Imran.
A few days back the army chief had contacted Khan, who has been in hospital for almost 10 days, and inquired his health. Now he had visited future prime minister of the country, Nawaz Sharif.
PML-N had also visited Imran Khan a few days back and inquired his health besides congratulating cricketer turned politician on winning from Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa province.
The contacts of General Kayani has been seeing as an effort for political stabilization in the country.
In a crucial meeting with future prime minister of the country, Army chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani has discussed security issues with Nawaz Sharif.
The meeting, which continued for three and half hours, was conducted on a lunch buffet.
Pakistan Muslim League president has been considered having a bit hostile attitude towards the army over its alleged role in politics.
The meeting between the top brass of the country will definitely have a positive image, says analysts closely observing the issue.
As the meeting was not open to media, therefore, details of the meeting will be revealed by spokespersons of both personalities.
