ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s envoy for India, Salman Bashir will arrive in India today (Monday) to delegate release of the prisoner Sanaullah Haq who became victim of jail violence in the neighboring country.
Government sources confirmed the news, adding they are continuously in contact with Indian authorities to remain informed of the condition of the injured.
The ambassador is also expected to hold talks on issuing visa to the family of the wounded as the condition of the prisoner is still said to be critical.
Meanwhile, news sources have stated that the prisoner is already ‘brain dead’ and nothing conclusive can be said about his survival.
Earlier, confusion was witnessed in the national and international media about Sanaullah Haq being alive.
