KARACHI: Law Enforcement Agencies on Monday claimed to have arrested activist of a banned organization.
Police raided a house in Kemari area here and nabbed a person allegedly belonging to a terrorist organization, name of which security agencies refused to reveal, reported a private news channel.
The LEA claimed that the arrested was involved in about 12 acts of terrorism in a city which is called the economic hub of the country.
Sources said a rise in the crackdowns and sudden raids has been witnessed in the metropolitan on eve of general elections in the country.
On the other hand, bomb blasts and attacks on campaigns of different election candidates has also seen a surge, apparently aimed at deteriorating law and order situation ahead of polls in Pakistan.
