Karachi: At least one person has been killed and 13 others injured after an explosive device went off near a bus stop in Buffer Zone area of Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan, here on Tuesday night.
According to sources, the blast occurred near Peoples Chowrangi area of the city killing one person and injuring 13 people. The panes of the nearby buildings were shattered by the powerful explosion.
“Blast occurred near MQM election office,” they said.
Meanwhile, police has said that initial information indicated that a motorcycle was used in the attack.
The injured have been shifted to a local hospital in the area where doctors say the five of the wounded are in a critical condition.
Police and Rangers have cordoned off the area and started search for other explosives in the surrounding
