Samsung’s Galaxy S4, hitting the stores from April 24, is just amazing in specs and features, but an amazing news for you is that it shouldn’t be called as its flagship device.
If we compare Galaxy S3 with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2, we could say that flagship device of the Korean tech giant, in terms of features and innovations, should be Galaxy Note 2 or for 2013 it should be Galaxy Note 3.
From S Pen Stylus kit to major innovation in camera specs, from display to processor speed, Samsung has used its Galaxy Note series as the launching pad of latest developments. So if we consider Galaxy Note Series as the flagship device instead of Galaxy S series smartphones, then it shouldn’t be called illogical.
So if Galaxy Note is the flagship device, what could be next major innovation Samsung could introduce with Galaxy Note 3?
What about a Galaxy Note 3 with flexible display? That will set a mark for being a flagship device.
We have got a hint from SamMobile, a Samsung Mobile enthusiasts site, that Samsung has delayed its flexible devices. But in the same report, it has revealed that Samsung has developed a method which can foster the production of flexible devices.
“Samsung Display is reportedly reviewing various encapsulation technologies that can replace the encapsulation technology developed by Vitex System,” the site reported.
Korean Newspaper ETNews is also quoted Samsung as saying that it has developed a technology which will shorten the encapsulation process to less than two minutes thanks to Vitex System technology.
So as Samsung is able to shorten the production process of flexible display, we could expect it on Galaxy Note 3.
Galaxy Note is likely to get public at IFA, Berlin in August this year with October might be the month for it to hit stores worldwide.
