QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court has annulled the imprisonment to former provincial minister Ali Madad Jatak, here on Tuesday (today).
The court declared null and void two years of jail and 10,000 rupees fine imposed on the politician belonging to Pakistan People’s Party.
Earlier, Jatak had filed the plea after a sessions court declared him ineligible to contest polls over possessing fake educational degree.
Ayesha Ahad to contest polls
Meanwhile, Ayesha Malik, daughter of former parliamentarian Ahad Malik and alleged wife of Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, has been allowed to participate in the polls from NA 119 constituency. She would contest elections against the aforementioned politician.
