LAHORE: The menace of load shedding has got out of control in the provincial capital Lahore, giving birth to other problems such as unavailability of water.
Water has become severely scarce in most part of the city, some of which are Gulistan Colony, Burki, Mughal Pora, Baghpora, Singhpora, Julo, Sanda, Sherakot and Gulberg.
The situation has added to the woes of the dwellers of the city, given the intense heat and weather conditions.
A private news channel reported that the load shedding is being conducted every three hours, pushing the common man to his limits.
Reacting to the adversity, several people have took it to the streets to warn the authorities of further power degradation.
Meanwhile, sewerage line in the Mughalpora area has broken and the hazardous water has started to enter the houses.
Despite continued protest by the dwellers, no officials of Wasa have reached the site.
