Abbottabad: Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar has organised a laptop distribution ceremony in which at least 800 were awarded to the students of Ayub Medical College (AMC) under “Naway Sahar Laptop Scheme”.
The scheme was launched by Khyber Medical University (KMU) with the support of provincial government for the students of its affiliated medical institutes.
Dr. Muhammad Hafeezullah, Vice-Chancellor KMU was the chief guest while Dr. Shad Muhammad Director Academics KMU, Dr. Nisar Khan Chief Executive of Ayub Medical Institution also attended the delightful event.
In the next phase of the schemes, around 3.800 laptops will be distributed to the students of all affiliated institutes of KMU.
Those students who obtained 70 percent or above marks in their last semester examinations will be eligible to receive laptops while those students studying under annual examination system will be awarded by laptops if they obtain 60 percent marks.
