London: A student from Rhondda Cynon Taf county Greg Dash 25 created his own digital fish-eye camera by old parts to save money. The camera captures 12 megapixel images but has no view finder.
The student has taken orders to create more 300 cameras from around the world, selling the cameras for £65.
Greg Dash said that he is a fan of photography but the cost of fish eye lens for his film camera is unaffordable for him so finally he decided to create by itself.
The 12 megapixel camera is around 4cm (1.5in) long and 2cm (0.8in) high which shoot HD videos but with no LCD screen for viewfinder or view photos option unlike most digital cameras.
Mr Dash is currently a student of doctorate in renewable energy and eco-tourism at Aberystwyth University and he said the income from the orders had almost cleared his seven-year student debts.
