Karachi: Almost 2500 students are facing risk that they might not be able to sit in the Matric examinations of the Karachi board, starting from Monday.
According to reports, the two schools, situated in Shershah and Gulistan-e-Jauhar areas of Karachi, have refused to take examination of the students.
The schools named Metropolitan school, Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Mohammad Shafi Secondary School, Sher Shah have demanded deployment of Rangers for the security during the examinations.
They said that their teachers were beaten during the last year examinations after they refused to allow cheating in the class rooms.
Meanwhile, Secretary Matric board Hoor Mazhar has taken notice of the issue and said that the matter has been resolved and the examination material would be supplied to the schools on Saturday morning.
